Your wildest dream is coming true: A Nutella hotel is opening in January

PARSIPPANY, NJ — If you build it, they will come, especially if it’s made of Nutella.

The world’s first Nutella-inspired hotel, dedicated to the beloved hazelnut spread, is set to open in January for one weekend only in the Napa Valley.

Don’t go running all at once now!

Called Hotella Nutella, the pop-up retreat will feature larger-than-life jars of Nutella and breakfast décor, hazelnut and cocoa spread-inspired hotel items and immersive activities that highlight the brand. These include: A Nutella Breakfast Dinner with Geoffrey Zakarian, Iron Chef and Food Network celebrity judge; A Savory Soul Food Brunch with Tanya Holland, TV personality and owner of Brown Sugar Kitchen who’ll infuse modern Southern breakfast recipes with the magic of Nutella; and Pancake Art with Dancakes, the talented pancake artist team who performs live pancake art around the world.

“Hotella Nutella reimagines the joy of the hotel stay with a special breakfast experience that allows fans to enjoy Nutella in new and different ways,” said Todd Midura, Vice President of Marketing at Nutella North America, Ferrero. “We hope our guests learn how to recreate the magic of Hotella Nutella at home, giving them more opportunities to gather with friends and family to enjoy a special breakfast.”

Hotella Nutella is scheduled to open for one weekend only – Jan. 10-12, 2020. Aside from the promise of hazelnut goodness, U.S. residents have the chance to win a free stay by submitting a video about how Nutella makes their mornings special.

This is not the first time a well-known brand has invested in a pop-up hotel. Back in August, for only four nights, Taco Bell opened its first-ever hotel – ‘The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort’ – in Palm Springs, also in California. The entire resort sold out of rooms in less than two minutes.
