As reported on December 15, 2020, in Conference & Meeting World newsletter, The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), in partnership with the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC), has secured its first conference booking for 2021 and is cautiously optimistic about the outlook for the New Year.
The Aesthetic Society will bring its annual meeting and 600 expected attendees to Miami Beach, 30 April-3 May, 2021. The signing, along with the MBCC Ready plan, represents a big leap towards recovery for events in Miami following a year of postponements due to Covid-19.
Organisers are also expecting to attract 200 exhibiting companies for the four-day event in spring. This first major booking that the MBCC for 2021 is expected to bring an estimated $2.4m in economic impact, an essential contribution to the recovery of the local economy.
